WS-23 is a cooling agent of synthetic origin, presenting as a white crystalline powder with a slight menthol odour. This ingredient is characterised by high purity and stable physical-chemical properties, with an extremely cooling sensory profile without the typical strong menthol taste. WS-23 complies with Regulation 1223/2009/EC for cosmetic applications and with Regulation EC/1334/2008 as a flavouring substance.
