ECSA Group announces the winners of the Street Art call "Back to human contact"

NSN997, Edoardo Ettorre and Capo.Bianco are the three winners selected by the jury from a shortlist of over sixty applications from all over the world. Starting from 5 September, in turn, they will be working on the external walls that delimit the Group's headquarters in Balerna.

The ECSA Group – active in the supply of petroleum products, chemical raw materials and items for all industrial needs (lubricants, occupational safety devices, paint materials, etc.) – in collaboration with the Artrust art gallery, is pleased to announce the winners of the “Back to human contact” competition announcement for the creation of three murals at its headquarters in Via Luigi Favre in Balerna: they are the street artists NSN997, Edoardo Ettorre and Capo.Bianco.

The jury – made up of the Nevercrew, Christian Rebecchi and Pablo Togni, Patrizia Cattaneo Moresi, Director of Artrust SA, Enrico Centonze, Artistic Director of the Grimmuseum in Berlin, Luca Zingone, CMO of ECSA Group and Nicholas Felappi, Head of the Culture Department of the Municipality of Balerna – selected the three winning projects from over sixty submitted by artists from all over the world.

«We were pleasantly surprised by the quantity, but even more by the quality, of the many projects received – says Luca Zingone CMO of ECSA Group – The selection was not easy and reluctantly we had to reject many very valid projects. The winners were those who, due to the quality of the portfolio and the declination of the theme of the announcement, best responded to the expectations of the jury. Our compliments go to them, but a dutiful thanks goes to all those who sent their applications and who enthusiastically participated in our call for tenders.»

«It always surprises how the response to this type of tender goes beyond not only national borders, but also continental ones – says Patrizia Cattaneo Moresi, Director of Artrust SA – We have received applications from Mexico, Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Jordan, the United States, Japan, just to name a few of the most distant countries from us. This is indicative of how wide the artistic offer in the field of Street Art is. Therefore, initiatives such as that of the ECSA Group are welcome, which can offer walls, spaces and the possibility of expressing their creativity to artists from all over the world. »

The three selected artists will be at work in the month of September according to the following schedule: NSN997 5 – 9 September, Capo.Bianco, 14 – 20 September; Edoardo Ettorre, 27 September – 3 October.
