Proraso, was born in 1948 in Florence from an idea of the Martelli family. The company has loyally served three generations of men in their daily care and today enjoys a reputation as the best Italian company for barber products. Thanks to its long experience, Proraso still creates shaving products of extraordinary quality in accordance with its tradition.
Since 2017, Proraso has entrusted ECSA Chemicals with the supply of some selected raw materials – such as Shea Butter, Lactic Acid, Cocoa Butter and Sodium Hyaluronate.
Proraso and ECSA Chemicals work side by side in the creation of innovative, well-finished and environmentally friendly products. The collaboration extends to 360 ° focusing on different fronts such as the supply, selection and procurement of raw materials.

Proraso is also equipped with an efficient internal laboratory that follows multiple projects and interfaces directly with ECSA Chemicals experts for the innovation part of raw materials.
