What is Glucose Syrup?

While glucose is the fuel for your body, consuming it in syrup form isn’t going to boost your energy levels. Like other forms of sugar, glucose syrup is simply an added sweetener. You can find it in numerous packaged food and since it doesn’t crystallize, it’s often used to make candies, drinks, and premade-backed goods.

How is Glucose Syrup made?

Glucose syrup is created by hydrolyzing, or breaking apart, the strings of glucose molecules that make up starchy foods. ECSA Glucose syrup is made from wheat, is well-tolerated and successfully used in different commercial products.
